I just got back from a week at the beach. Another american exchanger--Aubrey--invited me to her beach house which was absolutely breathtaking!!! Seriously, the place was a paradise. We rode the waves, laid out, and went on the cliche long moonlit walk on the beach (lacking the guys, but it was good for girltalk). Anyways, It was perfect. To finish the week, we rested for a day and then went to the ballet of Don Quixote at the city´s historic theatre.

Hey Maggie,
How's Brazil going? Your pics look like you're having a great time down there! I had to tell you this & I wasn't sure if you were checking your AOL e-mail or not, so here goes: Remember Jeremy(the one we worked with when Subway first opened)??? Well, he died last night. :-( We had really bad freezing rain last night, and I guess he fell and hit his head...the fall knocked him unconscious, and he was found hours later in his driveway by the paramedics--but it was too late b/c he had already passed away...they're not sure if he died from a head injury b/c of the fall, or if he died from the cold temps. :-( Isn't that awful!??! :( :( I just thought u should know. --Jessica
